Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since November 11, 1996. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as the Bond girl with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. She played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988, and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. A photographer approached Doody. Doody began to model and subsequently an industry-related career in modelling. Doody was extremely strict about not doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to Doody's acting work. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that her name was picked by the casting director. Doody was listed within John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as one of the 12 most promising actors in 1986. 38. Doody was 18 years old as she played the character of Doody in Bond She was still the most youthful Bond gal until today. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) with Mickey Rourke, also featured a smaller role as IRA Siobhan. Doody appeared as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 version of The Secret Garden. She also played Lilias. Doody performed the role of Sapsorrow in an episode of Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she played with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most notable role to date was as Austrian Nazi sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played alongside Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. She was Flannery her agent, as well as girlfriend in Major League II. She was selected as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was once L'Oreal's spokeswoman. Doody who was absent from the stage for nearly 10 years, came back in 2003 for a minor part on her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine played her as a character at the ceremony for awards. She starred along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version to King Solomon's Mines. in 2010 Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Later, she guest-starred on RTE's medical thriller The Clinic. She was supposed to appear in the remake of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. The actress began her two seasons of The E4 comedy Beaver Falls in 2011 as Pam Jefferson. The show also featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). She received the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on 21 November 2018.
